  Being a person with a Disability, people make a lot of assumptions. For example, I’ve been out to eat with my Family and the Waiter would ask my mom What will she have’’ as oppose to placing a Restaurant Menu in front of me allowing the decision to be mine. Mom and I had a conversation once she said to me You have three strikes against you your Black a Women and Disabled’’ My goal is to humanize this community and uplift us in a way that brings immense pride. The Disabled community has a lot to offer the world which is so easily discounted because of people’s ignorance as well as their lack of engagement with the community.   Fill me up God, so I can overflow onto others. I want to overflow, with forgiveness. My desire is to overflow, with peace and joy. God, I want people to come in contact with me and encounter you. Don't believe the lies of the Enemy, You're worth it. Hold on, God will guide you through the valley. God Didn't make a mistake with you, nor does He see you as one. Acknowledge this truth, You're a rare gem with unique qualities. Be still and let God move. Don't doubt your God given ability regardless of the lack of visible results.
