Fill Me Up

 Fill me up God, so I can overflow onto others.

I want to overflow, with forgiveness.

My desire is to overflow, with peace and joy.

God, I want people to come in contact with me and encounter you.

Heavenly Father, I want it to be evident that I was in your presence every day.

Jehovah heal, the brokenhearted and restore everything the locust hath eaten.

  Being a person with a Disability, people make a lot of assumptions. For example, I’ve been out to eat with my Family and the Waiter would ask my mom What will she have’’ as oppose to placing a Restaurant Menu in front of me allowing the decision to be mine. Mom and I had a conversation once she said to me You have three strikes against you your Black a Women and Disabled’’ My goal is to humanize this community and uplift us in a way that brings immense pride. The Disabled community has a lot to offer the world which is so easily discounted because of people’s ignorance as well as their lack of engagement with the community.
